Easy Strawberry Shortcake Cups

An easy recipe using frozen cake and strawberries, perfect for Spring and Summer.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 16 oz frozen pound cake
  • Cool Whip

Strawberry Mixture

  • 2.5 cups diced strawberries
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2.5 tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • Prepare ingredients to assemble. Let Cool Whip thaw 30 minutes before assembling.
  • While thawing, slice strawberries and combine with water, sugar, and lemon juice. Place in refrigerator until ready to assembly.
  • Slice cake as desired for layering.
  • Layer slices of cake, then strawberries, then Cool Whip, and repeat until glass is full as desired. Serve immediately, and enjoy.
