Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit. Prepare a 9x13 inch casserole dish with nonstick spray. Set aside.
Ensure chicken breasts are the same size (if not, pound with meat tenderizer until even thickness is reached for all pieces). Place chicken in casserole dish. Sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper until fully coated.
Slather BBQ sauce all over chicken breasts until fully covered.
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165 degrees fahrenheit internally at thickest point.
Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing to preserve juices.
