How to make easy homemade pizza –
Let your pizza dough come to room temperature. Remove your dough from the refrigerator about 20 minutes before pressing into the pan. This will make it so much easier to stretch. If it keeps shrinking back wait another 10 minutes.
Oil your pan well. You want to make those edges crispy. Sprinkle a bit of cheese on the dough before adding the sauce. This will help keep the sauce from soaking into the pizza dough. Crispy restaurant quality pizza is the goal!

Add the sauce – keep it to a thin layer. You can usually get several pizzas from one 12 ounce jar of sauce.
Top with pepperoni or your favorite topping,

Add more cheese on top of the toppings. As much as I want to cover this pizza with cups of cheese, I have found that less is better. Top with mozzarella and a bit of parmesan if you have it.
I had a few green onions so I sprinkled a few of those. Get creative, clean out the fridge with this easy homemade pizza.

Bake – we use a hot oven to get the crispy edges we all love.
Bake for about 20 minutes – this will vary depending on how thin the crust is. Just lift up an edge and if its toasty it’s done.
