Greek Yogurt Cookie Dough Recipe

Despite the name, there is no cookie dough in this recipe. It’s a mixture of plain Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips. It tastes similar to cookie dough, but it’s a protein packed alternative that really helps a sweet tooth!

Ingredients:

  • Greek Yogurt: I use nonfat. Chobai and Fage are my favorite brands. I buy the big containers at Costco but you could just as easily scale this down and make it right in an individual yogurt cup for 1 serving.
  • Peanut Butter: I use reduced fat peanut butter for my dietary preference. You can use full fat, or you could use any nut butter you prefer (sun butter, cashew butter, or almond butter work great!).
  • Honey: You can use agave syrup or maple syrup if desired.
  • Vanilla Extract: I’ve also used vanilla bean paste which gives great flavor.
  • Chocolate Chips: Milk or dark chocolate, chef’s choice. The mini chocolate chips work great if you’re only making a small amount of this.

Mix the ingredients together using a fork. The peanut butter can get a little thick, but the vanilla extract will help loosen it a little.

adding chocolate chips to cookie dough dip

Add the chocolate chips, and you have homemade healthy Greek Yogurt cookie dough! I eat this plain, but I’ve also had it with strawberries, bananas, and I’ve dipped my son’s animal crackers in it and he actually loved that.
